The Setting

On the sand at Les Salins
The garden runs down to Les Salins, a sandy beach of 500 metres on the east side of the Saint-Tropez peninsula, and the villa has its own way onto the sand.
Saint-Tropez, ten minutes away
The village and its port are about ten minutes by car, and Cannes is about seventy minutes along the coast.
The coastal path
The coastal path follows the shore along Les Salins, north to Cap des Salins and south to Pointe du Capon, the site of an old battery.
The lawn running from a wing of the villa to the beach
An umbrella pine over the lawn, the pool and the sea behind
The pool and the villa among the pines, the sea beyond
The lawn, the dune and Les Salins beach below the villa
A garden path under old olive trees, agapanthus in flower

The Padel Court

Private, and only yours
The court stands in the garden near the beach, a panoramic court in glass and dark green steel, and it belongs to the villa, so every hour on it is yours. The surface is artificial grass, and the floodlights run as late as you want to play.
Tennis, beside it
A full-size tennis court runs alongside the padel court, behind its own hedge of pines.
Coaching, and who comes to the court
Add coaching to the stay with elite coaches, who come to your court and teach in English. Every coach has played with us or come recommended by someone we trust.

The Kitchen

The chef, and the shopping
The villa's own chef is in the rate and cooks every day of your stay. We can also have your groceries delivered before you arrive.
A kitchen under glass
The kitchen runs the length of a glass-roofed gallery beside the garden: a long white island with oak stools, three Gaggenau ovens and a gas hob, under four woven pendant lamps.
Local food, a short drive
The Provençal market fills the Place des Lices in Saint-Tropez on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, from eight until one.

The Relaxation

The pool, and the bar beside it
The heated pool runs along a wooden deck between the villa and the beach, with loungers under white parasols and a bar with stools under its own roof at the far end.
The gym, in the palm garden
The gym is a timber pavilion of its own in the palm garden, glazed on two sides and fitted with Technogym machines: a treadmill, a bike, a rower, a cross trainer and a weights station.
The water at Les Salins
Les Salins has clear water and a lifeguard post in summer, and the restaurant on the beach, also called Les Salins, serves grilled fish.

The Service on Site

Who is on site
A butler and a housekeeper work at the villa every day, alongside the chef, and both are in the rate. Two of the villa's eleven bedrooms are kept for the staff, so the nine you book are yours alone.
A driver, from either airport
A driver can meet you at Nice or at La Môle, the airport for private flights, and stay with your group through the week, at an extra cost.
The concierge, if you add one
Add the concierge and we plan the week with you before you arrive, from tables in Saint-Tropez to a boat for the day, and stay on call through it.

The Feeling

The quiet side of Saint-Tropez
Les Salins is about ten kilometres from the beach clubs of Pampelonne, and between the beach and the village lies La Moutte, an estate left to the Conservatoire du Littoral in 1999 and listed as a historic monument.
Glass walls, open to the garden
The living room's glass walls slide back on two sides, onto the pool deck and the lawn, and the sea stays in view from the sofas. On cooler evenings the open fire is lit.
The rooms, as they are now
Renovated throughout in 2024, with white walls and painted floorboards.

She finds places that live up to the photographs, and gets the less obvious things right: the location, the atmosphere, and how well a house works for the people in it.
Danny · God’s Window
She thinks of the things you'd never think to check. The layout, the views, whether a place feels too touristy. You can tell she books as if she were staying there herself.
Anna · Sublime Comporta
She has a knack for finding somewhere in the middle of everything that doesn't feel touristy. Hard to get once, let alone twice.

Questions about Fleur de Mer

Why book through Padel Hideaways?

The villas are looked after by people who are particular about who they work with, and they work with us. That takes time to earn and it is why this collection grows slowly, a villa at a time.

The rate is the villa's own, and booking with us adds nothing to it: our commission comes from within what the villa already charges. The Concierge, Driver, Chef and Coach are quoted alongside it as one price, and we are on call for them all week. Every enquiry comes to us, so the person who answers is the person who arranges it.

Is there a security deposit at Fleur de Mer?

The villa sets its own security deposit, and it is written into your agreement. We will give you the figure for your dates with your quote.

When do we arrive, and can we book a shorter stay?

On a Saturday. The minimum is five nights in June and from September to November, and seven in July and August. Tell us your dates and we will confirm with the villa.

Which airport do we fly into for Fleur de Mer?

Nice Côte d'Azur (NCE), about an hour and a half away by road. La Môle, the Saint-Tropez airport for private flights, is about twenty-five minutes from the villa. Add the Driver and you are met at arrivals and driven in.

What comes with the villa, and what can I add at Fleur de Mer?

The whole villa, yours alone, 9 suites for 18, with its own chef, butler and housekeeper every day. Add the concierge, a driver and a coach and we plan the week and come back with one price.

What is added to the rate at Fleur de Mer?

The rate includes VAT. We confirm any other charge, such as cleaning, with the villa before your quote is sent.

Is the beach at Fleur de Mer private?

The garden runs straight down to Les Salins, so the sand is a short walk across the lawn. The beach itself is public, as beaches are by law in France.

Does Fleur de Mer have a tennis court as well as a padel court?

Yes. The villa has its own floodlit panoramic padel court and a full-size tennis court beside it, both in the garden near the beach, and a gym pavilion with Technogym machines.

How much does Fleur de Mer cost for eighteen people?

From €125,000 a week in June and from September to November, which is about €6,944 each for eighteen. July and August are €175,000 a week, about €9,722 each, and December to May is on request.
