Is there a security deposit at Villa Quail?

€6,000 for the week, taken by bank transfer and held by the villa's management company. It is due 45 days before you check in, rather than when you book. It is returned within 72 hours, once the villa has been checked after your stay.

When do we arrive, and can we book a shorter stay?

Check-in can be any day, with a minimum of seven nights. Tell us your dates and we will confirm with the villa.

Which airport do we fly into for Villa Quail?

Lisbon (LIS), about an hour away by road. Add the Driver and you are met at arrivals and driven in.

What comes with the villa, and what can I add at Villa Quail?

The whole villa, yours alone, 6 suites for 12. Add the concierge, a driver, a chef and a coach and we plan the week and come back with one price.

What is added to the rate at Villa Quail?

€11,730 for a shoulder week with the clean in it: €1,640 per night, €11,480 for the seven, then a final clean at €250 a booking. A peak week comes to €15,510 on the same lines: €15,260 for the seven, and the same €250 final clean. These are set by the villa, and each is itemised on your quote. The Concierge, Driver, Chef and Coach sit outside it, and we quote those with the week.

When do I pay for Villa Quail, and what if we have to cancel?

50% of the week and the cleaning confirm the booking, and the balance is due 45 days before you arrive. Booked inside 45 days, it is the whole amount at once. Cancelling costs half the rental at any point, and the full rental within six weeks of check-in or if the group does not arrive.

The Villa for a Group

Sleeping: Six suites sleep a group of twelve, most with king beds, all with air conditioning and hotel-grade linen.
Kitchen & the long table: The kitchen is open-plan, and you have three places to eat together: a long table indoors that seats the whole group, a covered table outdoors looking over the countryside, and the rooftop terrace.
Flow, and where the group gathers: The living room's doors open onto the shaded terrace, so your group shares one space indoors and out.

The Padel Court

Private, and only yours: The court sits inside the villa's own grounds and can be reached only through them, with rackets and balls kept courtside.
The court through the day: Shaded through the morning, and comfortable to play on before the heat of the day and again once it has passed.
Coaching, and who comes to the court: You can add coaching to your stay with top local pros we know personally. Every coach has played with us or come recommended by someone we trust. They teach in English, Portuguese and Spanish.

The Kitchen

The chef: The kitchen and the barbecue are yours, and for the nights you want a chef, we source one and quote it with the week. Menus are agreed with you before you arrive.
Local food, a short drive: For restaurants, you have Comporta and Melides, and we can book your tables ahead.
Wine, and the vegetable patch: The local wine is from Alentejo growers, and you can pick vegetables from the patch by the kitchen when they're ready.
