Is there a security deposit at Villa Cantalou?

The villa sets its own security deposit, and it is written into your agreement. We will give you the figure for your dates with your quote.

When do we arrive, and can we book a shorter stay?

Check-in can be any day. Until the end of 2026 the minimum is four nights; from 2027 a shorter stay can be arranged, and any stay under a week starts from €23,160. Tell us your dates and we will confirm with the villa.

Which airport do we fly into for Villa Cantalou?

Ibiza (IBZ), about twenty-five minutes away by road. Add the Driver and you are met at arrivals and driven in.

What comes with the villa, and what can I add at Villa Cantalou?

The whole villa, yours alone, 8 suites for 16. A concierge and a chef come with the villa. Add a driver and a coach and we plan the week and come back with one price.

When do I pay for Villa Cantalou, and what if we have to cancel?

A deposit confirms the booking, paid within three business days of signing the rental contract, and the balance is due two months before you arrive. The security deposit is separate and paid before arrival. We will give you the figure before you book, and any deduction from it follows a full inspection, with the owner's evidence of the cost. Cancelling 60 days or more before arrival costs half the total rental, and from 59 days the full rental. Optional cancellation cover returns 90% of what you have paid, up to €25,000.

Can we take Villa Cantalou with a smaller group?

Yes. The villa can also be booked with six bedrooms instead of eight, which runs €5,300 to €6,600 less a week depending on the season. The grounds, the chef and the court are the same either way. Tell us the number and we will quote the configuration that fits it.

The Villa for a Group

Sleeping, and who goes where: Eight en-suite bedrooms sleep sixteen across a main house and two independent guest houses, all air-conditioned. Most bedrooms can be made up as doubles or twins to suit your group, and several have an outdoor shower of their own. For a smaller group, the villa can also be booked with six bedrooms.
Kitchen & the long table: You can eat indoors at a table for twelve, with the doors open to the outdoor kitchen and its gas barbecue, or outside at the table for sixteen beside the pool.
Where the group gathers: The living room has a fireplace and Bang & Olufsen sound, and there is a second living room outdoors. The two guest houses give your group private corners to retreat to.

The Setting

Seclusion & neighbour distance: The villa sits inside a natural reserve above Es Cubells, at the end of an unpaved road that keeps the setting private.
Nature, light & views: The Japanese garden is planted in three parts: Mediterranean, tropical and wooded. The mountains are in view from the pool.
Quiet, with the beach close: Es Cubells is a clifftop church and a handful of houses. The beach is about ten minutes away, and the shops fifteen.

The Padel Court

Private, and only yours: Set in the garden with white walls and greenery around it, the court is shaded in the morning and floodlit for matches into the evening. Built new in 2024 at full size, twenty metres by ten, it has glass walls and textured artificial turf over silica sand. Rackets and balls are kept courtside.
Coaching, and who comes to the court: You can add coaching to your stay with top Ibiza-based pros we know personally, teaching in English. Every coach has played with us or come recommended by someone we trust.
The sessions: Coaching takes place on your court at the hours you choose: drills, match play, or a tournament for the group. Groups of mixed levels are welcome, as the coach assesses each player in the first warm-up.

The Kitchen

The chef, and the shopping: A private chef comes with the villa for your whole stay, as part of the rate. Menus are agreed in advance, dietary needs are taken care of, and the groceries are delivered before you arrive.
Local food, a short drive: Es Torrent's fish restaurant is in the next cove, and the restaurants of Es Cubells and Sant Josep are about ten minutes away. We book your tables ahead.

The Relaxation

The pool: The saltwater pool is 24 metres long and 4.5 wide, and can be heated if you ask.
Treatments, and the fitness room: You can add wellness treatments to your stay, and they take place at the villa. There is also a fitness room with its own bathroom.

The Service on Site

Who is on site: Housekeeping comes seven days a week, and the garden, pool and court are tended daily. A property manager looks after the villa through your stay, and a caretaker lives independently on the grounds.
Your concierge: A dedicated concierge comes with your booking, and we plan your stay with you before you arrive. We are on call throughout.
Airport transfers, and getting around: Ibiza airport is about twenty-five minutes away. You're met at arrivals and driven to the gate, and the transfers come with your stay. A car for other days, or a boat day to Formentera, can be arranged at an extra cost.
